FREE FROM THE FEAR OF THE FUTURE
TESTAMENT OF GRACE GLOBAL ASSEMBLY (GRACE REVIVAL CENTRE)
LIFELINES DEVOTIONAL FOR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4,2026
TOPIC:FREE FROM THE FEAR OF THE FUTURE
BIBLE VERSE
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
MEDITATION
The future can appear frightening when we cannot see what lies ahead, but God never asks us to face tomorrow alone. When Joshua suddenly became responsible for leading Israel after Moses’ death, he faced an enormous and uncertain future, yet God repeatedly assured him, “Be strong and courageous” (Joshua 1:6). Joshua did not know everything that would happen, but he knew the One who would go with him. That knowledge gave him courage to step into an unfamiliar future with confidence. In the same way, believers can overcome the fear of tomorrow because God has promised His presence, strength, help, and protection. We may not know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future, and His presence is greater than every uncertainty ahead.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You because my future is secure in Your hands. Deliver me from fear and anxiety about tomorrow, strengthen my heart, and help me to walk confidently into the future knowing that You are with me. Amen.
