FREE FROM FEAR
TESTAMENT OF GRACE GLOBAL ASSEMBLY (GRACE REVIVAL CENTRE)
LIFELINES DEVOTIONAL FOR MONDAY 0CTOBER 5,2026
TOPIC:FREE FROM FEAR
BIBLE VERSE
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”-2 Timothy 1:7
MEDITATION
Fear can paralyze the heart, magnify difficulties, and make us forget the power of the God who lives within us, but Christ has not called us to live as prisoners of fear. David provides a powerful example when he stood before Goliath, a warrior whose size and reputation terrified the entire army of Israel. While others saw an unbeatable giant, David saw an opportunity for God to demonstrate His power, declaring, “The LORD who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine” (1 Samuel 17:37). David’s courage did not come from trusting in his own strength but from trusting in God. Likewise, believers are free from fear because the Holy Spirit gives us power to face challenges, love to overcome intimidation, and self-discipline to respond to difficult circumstances with faith rather than panic.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for giving me Your Spirit of power, love, and self-discipline. Deliver me from every fear that seeks to control my heart, and help me to face every challenge with unwavering faith in You. Amen.
