VICTORY THROUGH ENDURANCE

TESTAMENT OF GRACE GLOBAL ASSEMBLY (GRACE REVIVAL CENTRE)

LIFELINES DEVOTIONAL FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26,2026

TOPIC:VICTORY THROUGH ENDURANCE

BIBLE VERSE
“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” — Hebrews 10:35–36 (KJV)

MEDITATION
Victory is often not received at the beginning of the journey but at the point where faith has endured long enough to see God’s promise fulfilled. Joseph endured betrayal, slavery, false accusation, and imprisonment, yet he refused to abandon the dream God had given him; eventually, he was lifted from the prison to the palace (Genesis 37:5–11; 41:39–41). Abraham also waited patiently for the promised son, and Hebrews 6:15 declares, “And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” Endurance does not mean that the believer never becomes tired or discouraged; it means refusing to surrender God’s promise because the journey has become difficult. James 1:12 says that the person who endures temptation is blessed, while Jesus encouraged His followers, “he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13). Therefore, do not throw away your confidence because the answer seems delayed. Keep praying, keep believing, keep obeying, and keep moving forward. The battle may be long, but steadfast faith can carry you to the place where God’s promise becomes your testimony.

PRAYER
Father, give me grace to endure every difficult season without abandoning my faith. Strengthen my heart when I am weary, renew my hope when the journey is long, and help me remain faithful until I see the fulfilment of Your promises. Let my endurance become a testimony of Your faithfulness, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
