VICTORY IN GOD’S PRESENCE
TESTAMENT OF GRACE GLOBAL ASSEMBLY (GRACE REVIVAL CENTRE)
LIFELINES DEVOTIONAL FOR MONDAY SEPTEMBER 28,2026
TOPIC:VICTORY IN GOD’S PRESENCE
BIBLE VERSE
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” — Psalm 16:11 (KJV)
MEDITATION
God’s presence is the believer’s atmosphere of joy, strength, and security, because His presence reminds us that we are never facing life’s battles alone. David experienced this reality repeatedly; when he stood before Goliath, he did not rely on his own strength but confronted the giant with confidence in the God who was with him (1 Samuel 17:45–47). Later, when David faced danger and uncertainty, he continually sought refuge in God’s presence (Psalm 27:4–5). The presence of God does not mean that difficulties will never arise, but it gives us the assurance and strength to face them without being overcome. Isaiah 41:10 declares, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee.” When God’s presence becomes the centre of our lives, fear gives way to courage, anxiety gives way to peace, and weakness gives way to strength. Therefore, cultivate His presence through prayer, worship, and His Word, because where God’s presence is treasured, joy is strengthened, faith is renewed, and the believer can stand securely even in the midst of adversity.
PRAYER
Father, let Your presence remain the centre of my life. Fill me with Your joy, strengthen me in every weakness, and keep me secure when circumstances are uncertain. Help me to walk consciously with You every day and experience the victory that comes from Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
