THE FINAL VICTORY

TESTAMENT OF GRACE GLOBAL ASSEMBLY (GRACE REVIVAL CENTRE)
LIFELINES DEVOTIONAL FOR WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 30,2026
TOPIC:THE FINAL VICTORY
BIBLE VERSE
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” — Revelation 21:4 (KJV)
MEDITATION
The believer’s ultimate victory is found in God’s promise that pain, death, sorrow, and suffering will not have the final word. Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly demonstrated His power over what appeared to be final: Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead after four days in the grave (John 11:39–44), showing that even death is not beyond His authority, while Job’s story demonstrates that a season of intense suffering did not prevent God from bringing restoration and a new chapter to his life (Job 42:10–12). Most importantly, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the guarantee of our eternal hope, because Christ conquered death and became “the firstfruits of them that slept” (1 Corinthians 15:20). Therefore, even when believers walk through grief, sickness, loss, or seasons of deep sorrow, they can look beyond the present circumstances to God’s final promise. Revelation 21:4 assures us that suffering is temporary, death is defeated, and God’s eternal kingdom will have the final word. Our ultimate victory is not merely that we survive this life, but that through Christ we will share in a future where God’s presence removes every tear and sorrow forever.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for the hope of the final victory through Jesus Christ. When I face pain, sorrow, loss, or uncertainty, help me to look beyond today and trust Your eternal promise. Strengthen my faith until the day when every tear is wiped away and Your victory is fully revealed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
