VICTORY OVER REJECTION
TOPIC:VICTORY OVER REJECTION
BIBLE VERSE
“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.” — Psalm 27:10 (KJV)
MEDITATION
Human rejection can be painful, but it cannot cancel God’s acceptance, calling, or purpose for your life. David understood the pain of rejection, yet he found confidence in knowing that God would receive him even when others turned away. Joseph was rejected and sold by his own brothers, but their rejection could not destroy God’s purpose for him; God eventually lifted him into a position of influence in Egypt (Genesis 37:23–28; 41:39–41). Jesus Himself was rejected by many, yet He became the Saviour of the world and fulfilled the Father’s purpose (John 1:11; 1 Peter 2:4–6). Therefore, do not measure your worth by people’s acceptance or rejection. Ephesians 1:6 reminds us that in Christ we have been “accepted in the beloved.” When people close doors, God can open another; when others overlook you, God still sees you; and when rejection makes you question your worth, remember that God’s love remains constant and His purpose for your life still stands. You may be rejected by people, but you are never forgotten by God.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for accepting and loving me when others may reject me. Heal every wound of rejection, strengthen my identity in Christ, and help me trust Your purpose for my life. Let every closed door become a pathway to the place You have prepared for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
