FREE TO PROSPER GOD’S WAY
TESTAMENT OF GRACE GLOBAL ASSEMBLY (GRACE REVIVAL CENTRE)
LIFELINES DEVOTIONAL FOR THURSDAY OCTOBER 22,2026
TOPIC :FREE TO PROSPER GOD’S WAY
BIBLE VERSE
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”- 3 John 1:2 (KJV)
MEDITATION
God desires His children to experience a life of wholeness in which material progress, physical well-being, and spiritual maturity develop in harmony with His purposes. However, prospering God’s way goes beyond accumulating wealth; it involves integrity, diligence, generosity, contentment, and faithful stewardship of the resources He provides. Joseph is a powerful biblical example of godly prosperity. Although he was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and unjustly imprisoned, he remained faithful to God and diligent in his responsibilities, and the Lord gave him favour and wisdom until he became a ruler in Egypt (Genesis 39:2–4; 41:39–41). When famine struck, Joseph used his position and wisdom to preserve countless lives rather than exploit his authority for personal gain. His life demonstrates that godly prosperity is not merely about how much we possess but also about how faithfully we serve God and use what He entrusts to us. As believers, we should pursue excellence, conduct our affairs honestly, grow spiritually, and trust God to guide our ambitions so that our progress becomes a blessing to others and a testimony to His goodness.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, teach me to prosper according to Your wisdom and purpose. Bless the work of my hands, deepen my spiritual life, and help me manage every resource with integrity and generosity. May my progress honour You and become a blessing to others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
