TOPIC :FREE TO LIVE BY FAITH
BIBLE VERSE
“For we live by faith, not by sight”-2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
MEDITATION
Living by faith means trusting God’s character and promises even when our circumstances provide little evidence of how things will work out. Faith does not deny the reality of our challenges; rather, it enables us to face them with confidence in God’s presence, wisdom, and power. Abraham provides a powerful example of this kind of faith because God called him to leave his country, his people, and his father’s household for a land He would show him, without revealing every detail of the journey in advance (Genesis 12:1–4). Abraham obeyed and stepped into the unknown, trusting the God who had called him. His journey reminds us that we do not need to understand every detail of God’s plan before we can obey His instructions. Sometimes, faith means taking the next right step while trusting God with what lies ahead. When fear, uncertainty, or delay tempts us to depend only on what we can see, God’s Word calls us to remain steadfast, make wise decisions, and follow His leading. As we grow in our knowledge of Him, we become increasingly free to live by faith rather than be controlled by appearances or circumstances.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, strengthen my faith when I cannot see the way ahead. Help me to trust Your promises, obey Your Word, and follow Your leading even in uncertain seasons. Deliver me from fear and doubt, and teach me to walk daily by faith and not by sight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
