TOPIC :FREE FROM LIMITING BELIEFS
BIBLE VERSE
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’”-Mark 9:23 (NKJV)
MEDITATION
Limiting beliefs are thoughts that convince us that certain victories, opportunities, or assignments are beyond our reach, even when God has called us to trust Him. Gideon provides a powerful example of someone whom God delivered from a limited view of himself. When the angel of the Lord called him a mighty man of valour, Gideon responded by pointing to his weak family background and his position as the least in his father’s house (Judges 6:12–16). He saw himself through the lens of his limitations, but God saw the deliverer He would become. Through God’s assurance and empowerment, Gideon overcame his insecurity and led Israel to victory against the Midianites. In the same way, God can free us from beliefs rooted in fear, past failures, family background, or feelings of inadequacy. We must learn to see ourselves in the light of God’s Word, because our limitations do not have to determine our future when we trust the One who strengthens and equips us.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, deliver me from every limiting belief that weakens my faith and hinders my progress. Help me to see myself through Your Word, trust Your promises, and step courageously into the purpose You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
